Click the Adobe Reader link listed to download it on the Adobe Web site. August 2004 Update - From the Pipeline Progress on the Middle School has been exciting and fast paced. After the award of bids on April 13, 2004, the sitework contractor mobilized and immediately began work on the building pad area. The building pad was completed on time and foundation work commenced subsequently. All underground utilities (water, sanitary, electric, etc.) were also completed with the building pad. The foundations for the east side of the building were completed by July 29, 2004. All foundations are scheduled to be completed by August 13, 2004. Masonry has also commenced in the east side of the building. The gym walls are being erected first, followed by the interior and exterior load-bearing walls to the west. All interior building underground plumbing has been installed and floor work will follow. The project is on schedule and moving forward very quickly. After several months of design revisions to make the building more efficient while maintaining the required program, the High School plan was sent out for bid on July 27, 2004. A prebid meeting was held on August 11, 2004, and bids will be received on August 24, 2004. The Elementary School is undergoing final design revisions intended to reduce cost while maintaining all required program elements. Once the design revisions are complete, the documents will be sent out for bid. Bids will be due approximately three weeks after the High School bids are received. |
